I only had a 500mm lense with me and wanted to photograph a nice reflection. I ended up doing this from 200m away xD

Everything which is nature
View from Rhiconich towards the peak of Arkle along the river.
The old military road – Surprisingly it has more than one lane and most of it had not car-sized holes in it – is winding its way through wonderful parts of the highlands of scotland. If you would stop at every position that looks great youd never arrive.
Went to the forest with a single lens: a 70-200 f2.8. Wanted to test out of if I can limit myself to using just that. On a Crop Camera that is quiiiite the long lens.
But hey, challenges, right?

Orange and Blue, the perfect combination
This glowing red thing is about to hit the ground.
There are some birds in this shot ;)

On the 20.03.2015 we had a partly eclipse of the sun. The maximum degree of coverage was between 75% and 80%. Because of having an un-optimal sunfilter (only a ND64) I had a little bit of fear the sensor would die so I only took short time for focusing. The result is not optimal, but you get the idea :)
And heres the “making off”. Tethered Shooting, Macbook, 500D + 70-200 f2.8
Rain can be really nice if you are not in the center of it.

The sun rises over the fields, bathes everything in golden light. Goose greet the light and prepare to take off.
Currently more than 100.000 cranes and countless of gooses roost here for a few weeks before moving on south for overwinter survival.
