Marsh Harriers
I was really happy to see the pair of Western Marsh Harriers (Circus aeruginosus) back in their territories. I already found them last year and was able to watch them raising their chicks. Now they are rebuilding their nest which is between high vegetation on the ground

GreatCrestedCrebe
The Great Crested Crebe (Podiceps cristatus) has an interesting courtship perfectly mirroring the partners movements. It ends with running over the water. This one did that alone.

Silvershine
This Great Egret is enough for himself. Creates a point of silvershine on the endless water.

Hating Swan
This male-swan really hate having other birds nearby. Following them across the lake until they finally move they ass away. But, its spring, birds are only humans, too ;)

Chilled Greyleg
02.03.2014 | Karow | Berlin This greyleg goose was quite chilled. Normally they have a long flight-distance.

Partnerflight
We got spring very early this year. You can already see the greylag gooses engaging in their partner flights. They start to do that when the partners find eachother and “hang around” together rather than with the whole flock.

Through the Hedge
… to the Water Its an interesting way over the nature-sanctuary “Moorbruchwiesen” in Hannover, Germany to the lake “Steinhuder Meer” . But it was better than expected.

I did it again, was up in the fucking early morning. – For visiting cranes. While waiting for the sunrise the sky looked like this for a very short time. Taken near Stralsund, Germany.
